Vikings Sign Linebacker Stanford Keglar

USA TODAY Sports

The Minnesota Vikings filled the final spot on their 90-man roster on Wednesday, signing linebacker Stanford Keglar to a deal.

Keglar played his college ball at Purdue University, and was a fourth-round pick of the Tennessee Titans (134th overall) in the 2008 NFL Draft. He played two seasons for the Titans, and was then signed by the Houston Texans, the team he played for in 2010. Keglar was released before the 2011 season started, and did not play in the league in 2011. His last professional football action of any kind was in the UFL with the Las Vegas Locomotives in 2012.

At this point, Keglar doesn't appear to be anything more than a camp body. In his three National Football League seasons, he has amassed just 22 total tackles and no sacks. But the team now has a full complement of players to go through their Organized Team Activities with.
