So, apparently "Vine" is a thing now. I don't know much about it, but it kind of seems like YouTube for people who don't quite have the attention span to sit through a 30-second YouTube video.
But the kicker for our Minnesota Vikings, Blair Walsh, seems to have the whole Vine thing figured out. As we know, with the release of Chris Kluwe, the duties for holding on field goals and extra points have fallen on the shoulders of rookie punter Jeff Locke. And, as you can see from the video above, shot on location by Walsh, it appears that Locke doesn't miss an opportunity to practice his craft.
We're seeing a bit of a transition in the Vikings' special teams units. Prior to the 2012 season, the trio of Kluwe, Ryan Longwell, and long snapper Cullen Loeffler were together longer than any trio at those positions in the NFL. Then the Vikings replaced Longwell with Walsh, and now they've replaced Kluwe with Locke. As long as Mike Priefer is coaching the group, however, I think they're going to be fine regardless of who's out there handling those duties.
