It's another day here at The Daily Norseman, ladies and gentlemen. The Minnesota Vikings are starting another round of Organized Team Activities today at Winter Park. Hopefully there will be some news or other excitement coming out of that for us to pass along to you.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-We had a post about Christian Ponder, and the site neither exploded nor caught on fire. Baby steps.

-The Vikings are expected to have 100% attendance at this week's OTA session, as Jared Allen has made it to the Twin Cities.

From some other outposts around the internet. . .

-The usage agreement for the new stadium is just about finished.

-Defensive tackle Kevin Williams isn't totally pleased about having to take a pay cut, but he's getting over it.

-Leslie Frazier and Rick Spielman, among others, took part in the Randy Shaver Golf Classic, helping to raise over $400,000 for cancer research.

-Minnesota high school football's Prep Bowl will also be moving to TCF Bank Stadium, along with the Vikings, in 2014.

The rules for the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been. . .no politics, no religion, no bad language, and don't feed the trolls.

As we continue our cover week for our ambient music, this is one of my favorite cover songs from a band I've always had a bit of a soft spot for, and is a real contrast in styles.

First, the original. . .

And now, the cover version.

For some reason, there's a lot of dead air before the video kicks off. But it's still pretty awesome.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for Tuesday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy your day with your fellow Minnesota Vikings fans, and we hope to have plenty of good stuff for you as the day goes on.
