Good morning to all of you out there this morning! We've hit another Tuesday, which means. . .well, not a heck of a lot, really, but we're just happy as heck to have you here anyway.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-The Minnesota Vikings' fan base is disintegrating in relatively shocking fashion after a rough start to the pre-season.

-Looking for a fantasy football league full of your fellow DN readers and Vikings fans? We can help you with that.

-Running back Adrian Peterson and coach Bud Grant are facing off in the Final Four of our Greatest Viking Of All Time Tournament. Our other Final Four match-up will be posted at 8 AM Central time.

From some other outposts across the internet. . .

-I had the opportunity to sit down and answer some fantasy football questions from the folks at Razzball.

-There are six projected starting quarterbacks that have played fewer snaps than Christian Ponder this pre-season.

-Sharrif Floyd had a minor knee procedure, but should be ready for the start of the regular season.

-Bud Grant was almost a three-time Minnesota Vikings head coach.

-The team has released cornerback Jacob Lacey, while defensive tackle Christian Ballard left the team for "personal reasons."

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as always, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you want to curse.

Your ambient music for the day. . .

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for Tuesday, ladies and gentlemen! Enjoy the rest of your day, and we'll be efforting to bring you some more good stuff as the day goes on.
