Final Score:

Once again, the ground rules for the Game Threads:

-Thou shalt not promote illegal feeds of today's game, or I shall kick thy arse to the curb until the game is over. Thou hast been warned.

-Thou shalt make an attempt to keep the swearing to a minimum. Understandable that it will slip occasionally, but do try to limit it.

-Thou shalt not feed the trolls. Rather, thou shall simply point them out, and they shall be banished to the fires of Mordor. Or Wisconsin. Whichever we feel is more harsh at the time.

-Thou shalt not bait the fans of other teams into trolling.

-Basically, thou shalt not be a jackwagon in the game thread.

It's the final pre-season tune-up for 2013, ladies and gentlemen. With the final roster cuts due in to the league office less than 48 hours after the conclusion of this one, what are we looking for tonight?

1) No serious injuries - Guessing this won't be as big a concern, what with none of the starters slated to see much action, if any at all.

2) Who gets the reps at defensive tackle? - Kevin Williams is out, Sharrif Floyd is out, Christian Ballard's lost his smile (or something. . .nobody's said for sure yet). That's going to open up some opportunities for guys to make this roster at the bottom of the defensive tackle depth chart. Can guys like Anthony McCloud, Chase Baker, and Everett Dawkins take advantage?

3) Burton v Webb - The battle for the final wide receiver spot. . .provided that the Vikings keep five receivers. . .appears to have come down to Stephen Burton and Joe Webb. Both have had their moments this pre-season where they've looked good, but they're probably battling for one spot. Who will come out on top in this one?

We're less than an hour away from kickoff here, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the last Vikings' football that we're going to see for about a week and a half, until the team takes the field to start the regular season.

SKOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL VIKINGS!!!!
