Minnesota Vikings News And Links

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

We know what day it is today. At least, I hope you do.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Detroit Lions' defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh wound up getting fined $100,000 for his hit on John Sullivan.

-We took a closer look at some of what happened in that game against Detroit, courtesy of Pro Football Focus.

From some other sites around the internet. . .

-Vikings' head coach Leslie Frazier says that the team will be better next week. Setting the bar awfully high, isn't he?

-Christian Ponder had his struggles on Sunday against loaded fronts. Bet it doesn't last.

-Fran Tarkenton still thinks Ponder is capable of good things. Maybe people should try questioning his intelligence for a while.

-Here's another guy that's still positive about the Vikings going forward.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as ever, folks. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you're going to curse.

Here's today's musical selection.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for Wednesday, everybody. Please remember the importance of what today is about. We'll likely have more for you later on today.
