Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to another Thursday here at The Daily Norseman. Yesterday was a bit low-key, but things should be significantly better today. And hey, there's football tonight, with the New England Patriots taking on the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football. So, we've got that going for us. . .which is nice.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Arif and Dusty have brought you another episode of Norse Code for your listening pleasure.

-Mark has his latest look at what collegiate football players you should be keeping an eye on this weekend.

-Kevin Williams is practicing again, and appears to be on track to take the field in Chicago on Sunday.

From some other outlets around the internet. . .

-The folks at Windy City Gridiron have their first look at our team leading up to this Sunday's game.

-Coach Leslie Frazier finds himself, once again, defending quarterback Christian Ponder.

-Wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson has the go-ahead to take deep kickoffs out of the end zone. (I thought he already had it.)

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've always been, folks. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel the need to curse.

Here's today's choice of music, as Pink Floyd week continues.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Thursday, ladies and gentlemen! Enjoy your day leading up to football this evening, and we'll have some more for you as the day progresses.
