Well, folks, we've gotten to that time of the week where the teams are releasing their final injury reports for Sunday's game, and the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears are no different. Both teams have put out their final injury reports, and there really isn't a whole lot of earth-shattering news on either of them, but let's take a look at them anyway.
We'll start, as we always do, with the visitors, that being the Vikings.
Player | Position | Injury | Sunday Status |
Larry Dean | LB | Shoulder | Probable |
Erin Henderson | LB | Heel | Probable |
Phil Loadholt | OT | Knee | Probable |
Mistral Raymond | S | Shoulder | Probable |
Josh Robinson | CB | Quadricep | Probable |
John Sullivan | C | Knee | Probable |
Kevin Williams | DT | Knee | Probable |
The big one for the Vikings, obviously, is Kevin Williams being listed as "Probable" after missing last week's game with a knee injury. Williams did not practice on Friday (though he did practice all week), and Sullivan was a limited participant in Friday's session. Everyone else on the list was a full participant in practice on Friday.
And now, the Bears' injury report
Player | Position | Injury | Sunday Status |
Julius Peppers | DE | Illness | Probable |
Charles Tillman | CB | Knee | Probable |
Yep, the Bears' entire injury report consists of two players, neither of whom is in any danger of missing Sunday's contest.
Those are all the bumps and bruises for both the Vikings and the Bears going into Sunday afternoon's contest at Soldier Field. Nothing that appears that it will have any real effect on the game, but you never know, I guess.
