Minnesota Vikings News And Links, 9/16

Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Spor

Well, it's the day after another tough Vikings' loss, ladies and gentlemen. The Minnesota Vikings are now one of five teams in the NFC that sit at 0-2 after the first two games of the season, along with the Washington Redskins, New York Giants, Carolina Panthers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. We'll likely have a bit more on yesterday's contest over the next day or two, and then start looking forward to this Sunday's contest against the Cleveland Browns at the Metrodome.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-If you want to flip through all of our coverage of the game against the Chicago Bears, the stream is right here, including Ted's Stock Market Report and my take on the loss.

-The Vikings' stadium is officially good to go. . .again.

-It looks like there are some interesting festivities taking place in London when the Vikings take on the Steelers in a couple of weeks.

From some other spots around the internet. . .

-A lot of folks are taking the blame for the Bears' final drive on Sunday.

-Running back Adrian Peterson said he felt "tentative" in Sunday's game. That's never a good sign.

-Red zone issues cost the Vikings again on Sunday.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, folks. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel the need to curse.

It's Led Zeppelin week for our ambient music selections, and since this one was specifically requested, let's start out with it.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for Monday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day, and keep your eyes peeled for more new stuff.
