Week Two of the 2013 National Football League season is officially in the books, and now we can start looking forward to the Minnesota Vikings' home opener, as they're set to take on the Cleveland Browns at the Metrodome this coming Sunday. We'll have a lot more on that going forward.
Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .
-Kyle took a look at the Vikings' quarterback situation going forward.
-We took a look at the Week 2 loss for the Vikings through the eyes of the ratings from Pro Football Focus.
-There could be a quarterback change in the offing at the Metrodome this Sunday.
From some other outposts around the internet. . .
-Vikings' head coach Leslie Frazier is still blaming himself for Sunday's loss.
-On the other hand, cornerback Chris Cook says that he should have made the play on the last touchdown by Chicago.
-Mark Dayton is apparently still complaining about the stadium deal that he signed into law.
-Why aren't the Vikings using rookie Cordarrelle Patterson more frequently? Nobody seems to know, really.
-Apparently someone with too much time on their hands thinks that one of those dumb online petitions is going to get Christian Ponder removed from the Vikings' quarterback spot.
The rules for the Open Thread are the same as they've always been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel the need to curse.
MOAR LED ZEPPELIN, you say? Why, certainly!
Seems pretty appropriate for the first couple weeks of this season, doesn't it?
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for Tuesday, ladies and gentlemen! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday, and keep your eyes open for anything else that might be coming down the pike for today.
