-I think we can start referring to defensive tackle Christian Ballard as a former Viking after his interview with Tom Pelissero.

-For the second time in two weeks, the team has said that rookie receiver Cordarrelle Patterson will get more snaps next week.

-John Sullivan and some other NFL players will be hooking up with the folks from Dollar Shave Club to do advertising. (Disclaimer: I love me some Dollar Shave Club.)

-Amy Senser, wife of former Viking Joe Senser, has had the final appeal of her hit-and-run case shot down by the Minnesota Supreme Court.

-The St. Paul Pioneer Press speculates as to who the Cleveland Browns will start at quarterback on Sunday at the Metrodome.

-Bears receiver Brandon Marshall referred to Vikings' safety Harrison Smith as the hardest-hitting safety in the NFL.
