Browns At Vikings: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio Schedule, And More

We're getting closer and closer to the Week 3 NFL match-up between the Cleveland Browns and the Minnesota Vikings at the Metrodome in Minneapolis. If you've looking for the way to follow all of the action, regardless of where you might be, we will have all of that information right here for you.

Television Info

As the road team for this game is a part of the AFC, this game will be featured on CBS. This will be one of two Vikings' games that will be on CBS this year, and the other one will happen next weekend when the Vikings "host" the Pittsburgh Steelers in London. According to the folks from The 506, the announcing team for this game will be Kevin Harlan and Solomon Wilcots. Kevin Harlan is one of my favorite sports announcers, so I'm pretty happy about this.

If you're outside of the coverage area for this game and will be watching it on DirecTV's Sunday Ticket Package, you can find this game on Channel 705.

Kickoff time is scheduled for 12:00 Noon Central time. It does not appear that the game is going to be on AFN this week, which is unfortunate. For our friends in the United Kingdom, you will be able to see the game via Game Pass, with kickoff coming at 6:00 PM local time.

Radio Info

If you're travelling or just prefer the sound of the radio call to the television announcers or what have you, the Vikings Radio Network is for you. Paul Allen and Pete Bercich are behind the mics again this season, and you can find one of their 74 affiliates near your area.

If you have satellite radio, you have options there as well. If you have an XM Radio, you'll be able to get the feed from the Vikings' announcers on Channel 230, as XM only has the home team's feed. If you have a Sirius Radio, you can get the Vikings' announcers on Channel 113 or the Browns' announcers on Channel 138.

Referee Info

According to the folks from the Football Refs website, this week's game has been assigned to referee Bill Leavy's crew. I'll be honest. . .there's only a few refs I "know" by name, so I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

Streaming Info

To my knowledge, there is no legal way to stream this particular game if you live in the United States. (Unless you have the Sunday Ticket through your video game console.) Do NOT. . .and I mean not in any way, shape, or form. . .promote illegal streaming sites on The Daily Norseman. Not in the comments, not in the FanPosts, not in the FanShots, not in the Game Thread on Sunday, not anywhere. Don't even hint at them. Trust me on this. If you're that determined to watch the game via an illegal stream, do a Google search and find it on your own.

If you live overseas, the only legal stream, that I know of, is to purchase NFL Game Pass from the folks at NFL.com, which is actually a pretty sweet deal. I've got it for the games that aren't on AFN, and from using it to watch the pre-season games, it's a pretty solid product.
