Minnesota Vikings News And Links, 9/23

Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

There has to be a morning after. . .and this is it, folks. Our favorite football team is 0-3 and is going to "host" a game on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean in a few days against another 0-3 team. . .so why do I not feel overly confident about this team's chances? I'm sure there are some pretty good reasons.

Anyway, here's your Open Thread for this Monday. . .and since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-If you want to relive all of our coverage of Sunday's game. . .and, really, why wouldn't you. . .the entire stream can be found right here.

-Ted knocked out the Stock Market Report from yesterday's game, and I have my recap of how things went as well.

-There was one bright spot for the Vikings in yesterday's garbage fest.

-Stop me if you've heard this one, but Bill Leavy's officiating crew derped up a pretty significant call in yesterday's contest.

From some other outposts around the internet. . .

-Jared Allen says that the Vikings need to "put it together." Gee, you reckon?

-Turns out that the Cleveland Browns really didn't feel like quitting after all.

-The Vikings got beaten in all three phases of the game on Sunday afternoon.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as always, ladies and gentlemen. . .no religion, no politics, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel that you absolutely must curse.

It's British Invasion week for your ambient music, ladies and gentlemen.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Monday, ladies and gentlemen. Have a pleasant rest of your day, and we'll have more for you throughout the day today.
