Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Do you know what day it is? Of course you do.

Gonna keep this morning's Open Thread a little on the shorter side here. . .hope that nobody minds too much.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Skol Girl tried to shine a little sunlight on all of our negativity after the first three weeks of the season.

-Our friends from The Pulling Linemen gave us some pretty sweet coverage of the NFL "Play 60" Event that the Vikings hosted in London on Tuesday.

From some other outposts around the internet. . .

-The Minnesota Vikings heading to the United Kingdom is good for the kids. . .and for the team, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

-The Pioneer Press also warns that the team's secondary is looking shaky going into this weekend's contest with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

-The team purchased 500 Minnesota Lynx WNBA Playoff tickets in order to help the Lynx out.

-The Daily Mail, one of London's biggest newspapers, sat down with Vikings' defensive tackle Kevin Williams.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've always been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel that you absolutely must curse.

More British Invasion music are our lead-up to London continues.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Wednesday, everybody! Enjoy the rest of your day, and we'll have some more stuff for your reading pleasure later on.
