Steelers At Vikings: Final Injury Reports

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sport

We have the final injury reports for both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Minnesota Vikings leading up to their match-up at Wembley Stadium on Sunday afternoon. We'll take a look at both of them here. . .and even though both teams are, technically, "visiting," we'll start with the team that will be the visitors on the scoreboard on Sunday, that being the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Player Position Injury Sunday Status
Cortez Allen CB Ankle Probable
Le'Veon Bell RB Foot Probable
Brett Keisel DE Hamstring Probable
Steve McLendon DT Hamstring Probable
Heath Miller TE Knee Probable

There really aren't a whole lot of injury concerns for the Steelers. They've managed to stay relatively healthy through the first three games of the season.

The Minnesota Vikings, on the other hand, have a few things to worry about.

Player Position Injury Sunday Status
Chris Cook CB Groin Out
Rhett Ellison TE Knee Out
Christian Ponder QB Rib Out
Jamarca Sanford S Hamstring Out
Matt Asiata RB Hamstring Probable
Erin Henderson LB Heel Probable
A.J. Jefferson CB Ankle Probable
Cullen Loeffler LS Neck Probable
Kevin Williams DT Knee Probable

Yes, Chris Cook is out with an injury again. Believe me, I'm as surprised as you are. We've gone over the quarterback situation. . .Matt Cassel will start on Sunday, and McLeod John Balthazar Bethel-Thompson will be his back-up. No idea who is going to start at safety in Sanford's place. . .Andrew Sendejo saw snaps at safety in the loss to the Browns, but I'm guessing that Mistral Raymond will be active for the first time this season to replace him. Ellison's loss should be offset significantly by the return of Jerome Felton.

And there are your inactive lists for this Friday's match-up, ladies and gentlemen.
