We have the final injury reports for both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Minnesota Vikings leading up to their match-up at Wembley Stadium on Sunday afternoon. We'll take a look at both of them here. . .and even though both teams are, technically, "visiting," we'll start with the team that will be the visitors on the scoreboard on Sunday, that being the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Player | Position | Injury | Sunday Status |
Cortez Allen | CB | Ankle | Probable |
Le'Veon Bell | RB | Foot | Probable |
Brett Keisel | DE | Hamstring | Probable |
Steve McLendon | DT | Hamstring | Probable |
Heath Miller | TE | Knee | Probable |
There really aren't a whole lot of injury concerns for the Steelers. They've managed to stay relatively healthy through the first three games of the season.
The Minnesota Vikings, on the other hand, have a few things to worry about.
Player | Position | Injury | Sunday Status |
Chris Cook | CB | Groin | Out |
Rhett Ellison | TE | Knee | Out |
Christian Ponder | QB | Rib | Out |
Jamarca Sanford | S | Hamstring | Out |
Matt Asiata | RB | Hamstring | Probable |
Erin Henderson | LB | Heel | Probable |
A.J. Jefferson | CB | Ankle | Probable |
Cullen Loeffler | LS | Neck | Probable |
Kevin Williams | DT | Knee | Probable |
Yes, Chris Cook is out with an injury again. Believe me, I'm as surprised as you are. We've gone over the quarterback situation. . .Matt Cassel will start on Sunday, and McLeod John Balthazar Bethel-Thompson will be his back-up. No idea who is going to start at safety in Sanford's place. . .Andrew Sendejo saw snaps at safety in the loss to the Browns, but I'm guessing that Mistral Raymond will be active for the first time this season to replace him. Ellison's loss should be offset significantly by the return of Jerome Felton.
And there are your inactive lists for this Friday's match-up, ladies and gentlemen.
