Pittsburgh Steelers "At" Minnesota Vikings: Fourth Quarter Open Thread

We're heading to the final fifteen minutes of play at Wembley Stadium, and the scoreboard currently shows the Minnesota Vikings leading the Pittsburgh Steelers by a score of 34-17 .

Pittsburgh got the ball to start the second half of play, and it didn't take them long to take advantage of things, as a big 48-yard pass interference penalty on Josh Robinson gave the Steelers first-and-goal at the 1-yard line, and they eventually put the ball into the end zone on Le'Veon Bell's second touchdown of the afternoon to cut the gap to 20-17.

The Vikings answered right back, thanks in large part to a big 51-yard pass from Matt Cassel to. . .guess who. . .Jerome Simpson. A few plays later, Adrian Peterson found the end zone for the second time today on a 7-yard run. The offensive line gave him a hole big enough to drive an articulated lorry through, and he took advantage.

("Articulated lorry" is British for "big ol' truck." Culture, you know?)

The Steelers came back and got one first down on their next drive, but then Ben Roethlisberger completed a bullet to Chad Greenway. Unfortunately for Roethlisberger, Greenway is not one of his teammates, and the Vikings took over in Pittsburgh territory at the 37-yard line.

It took the Vikings just two plays to find the end zone, as Cassel hit Greg Jennings for his second score of the day from 16 yards out to make the score 34-17 in favor of Minnesota. Pittsburgh went three-and-out again, but the Vikings went three-and-out and punted the ball back to Pittsburgh.

That's where we stand as we move to the final quarter of play, with the Steelers looking at a 1st-and-10 from their own 45-yard line.

The Vikings have a three score lead with just one quarter of football left to play. Will they leave Wembley Stadium with their first victory?
