Minnesota Vikings News and Links, 1/15

New, comments

Yesterday might have been the most exciting uneventful day in the history of the site. We wound up stretching to two Open Threads, totalling over 1,800 comments, as we all watched and waited for any developments out of Winter Park on the hiring of a new Minnesota Vikings' head coach. Alas, we got nothing on Tuesday. Will today be the day?

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-CCNorseman put together his initial draft rankings at positions of importance to the Minnesota Vikings.

-Todd Bowles, the defensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals, withdrew his name from consideration for the Cleveland Browns' head coaching job.

The only other real news involving the Vikings that wasn't centered around Mike Zimmer was receiver Cordarrelle Patterson being named first-team All-NFL by the Pro Football Writers Association as a kick returner.

The rules of the Open Thread remain the same, everyone. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel that you absolutely must curse.

Another random musical selection for today.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Wednesday, folks. Zimmerwatch will continue to be on in full force, and if anything else happens, we'll have that for you as well.
