It's Monday, everyone, and the stage is set for Super Bowl XLVIII in New Jersey in 13 days. The Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos will do battle on the NFL's biggest stage in the final game of 2013. You can check out our Seahawks site over at Field Gulls and our Broncos' site over at Mile High Report for all the coverage you could possibly want over the next two weeks.
Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .
-We found out exactly what advice that Bill Parcells gave to Mike Zimmer.
-This year's NFL Draft will have a record number of underclassmen eligible for selection.
-Running back Adrian Peterson is considering having surgery on his ailing groin.
-Is Mike Zimmer the man to finally take this franchise back to the Super Bowl?
-We take one final look back at the Metrodome, which had its final deflation this weekend. There was even a party for it.
The rules of the Open Thread are just the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel like doing a solid Mike Zimmer impression.
Don't have any real theme for this week's music, either.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Monday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day, and we've got more coming for you later on.
