It was a bit of a slow day for us here at your favorite Minnesota Vikings website yesterday, as we didn't really do much after the Open Thread was put out there. But there were plenty of good stories from some other sources.

-Running back Adrian Peterson underwent successful groin surgery yesterday, which is good, because I imagine that unsuccessful groin surgery would be a pretty awful thing.

-ESPN's Ben Goessling continues his position-by-position look at the Vikings by looking at offensive tackles.

-Former punter Chris Kluwe is scheduled to meet with investigators today over the kerfluffle that started earlier this month.

-It's not really Vikings-related, but former Twins manager Tom Kelly talks about some of his favorite Metrodome memories.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel you absolutely must curse.

Your ambient music for this last day of the work week.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for Friday, ladies and gentlemen. Hopefully we'll have some more news to share with all of you today. If there is anything, you can be assured that we will have more on it here for you.
