Lots of wild action this yesterday. My quai-adopted team, the Indianapolis Colts, over came the second largest deficit in NFL history to top Kansas City 45-44. New Orleans....resisiting my tagline for them....resisting SO MUCH...kicked a field goal as time expired to beat Philadelphia 26-24.
Oh, and North Dakota State, who could probably finish fourth or fifth in the Big Ten, defeated Towson 35-7 in the 1-AA FCS Championship. Congratulations to our own Eric Thompson, NDSU alum.
Today's action features two more wildcard games. The first one, kicking off at 12:05 CST on CBS, has the Cincinnati Bengals hosting the San Diego Chargers.
The late afternoon game could very well turn out to be the coldest game in NFL history, as San Francisco heads to Green Bay to take on the Packers. Kickoff for that game 3:40 CST on Fox. If you're into professional wrestling from the back in the day, it appears some former WWF superstars delivered pep talks to both the Niners and the Packers:
Hulk Hogan supports #Patriots. Ric Flair speaks to #49ers. 80's era wrestling match for #Packers. Ricky the Dragon Steamboat?

You know where I stand on this:
Go 49ers.
Also, the Iron Sheik, the most hated wrestler of that era, would have to be the Packers WWF motivational speaker, amirite? If not, discuss.
