Minnesota Vikings News and Links, 1/9

Trevor Ruszkowksi-USA TODAY Spor

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! We've hit another Thursday here at your favorite Minnesota Vikings' website, and we hope your day is going well as a lot of places finally start to thaw out.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-We took a look at which members of the Vikings will be free agents here in a couple of months.

-Ted took a look at two guys that could have a huge impact on the Vikings' off-season.

-The Vikings are looking at yet another assistant from the San Francisco 49ers.

-CCNorseman wrote an open letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Vikings' owner Zygi Wilf.

From some other sites around the internet. . .

-Chris Kluwe is already walking back some of his comments about the recent situation with him and the team.

-Minnesota will begin selling Vikings stadium bonds next week.

-The Viking Age feels that they have a bead on the team's next overaged, underachieving quarterback.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel that you absolutely must curse.

The "cold" theme continues with today's musical selection.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Thursday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day, and keep your eyes out for new stuff from us!
