Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers: Final Injury Reports

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sport

Well, we've got injury reports to look at for Thursday night's game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers. Let's take a look at what we've got on both sides, starting with the visitors.

Minnesota Vikings

Player Position Injury Thursday Status
Chad Greenway LB Hand/Rib Out
Kyle Rudolph TE Abdomen Out
Teddy Bridgewater QB Ankle Questionable
Jerome Felton FB Knee Probable
Michael Mauti LB Foot Probable
Jerick McKinnon RB Ankle Probable
Captain Munnerlyn CB Illness Probable
Josh Robinson CB Hamstring Probable
Rodney Smith WR Hamstring Probable
Brandon Watts LB Knee Probable

Obviously, the big concern on this list is Bridgewater. He did not practice on Monday or Tuesday and was a limited participant in Wednesday's walk-through. It appears that he's going to be a game-time decision, though it's telling that the Vikings have not yet made a move to bump McLeod Bethel-Thompson up from the practice squad to the active roster.

Gerald Hodges will start in Greenway's place again. My guess is that Greenway will be ready to go for the Week 6 contest against the Detroit Lions. Everyone other than Greenway, Rudolph, and Bridgewater was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.

Green Bay Packers

Player Position Injury Thursday Status
Jarrett Boykin WR Groin Out
Sam Barrington LB Hamstring Doubtful
Josh Boyd DT Knee Doubtful
Brad Jones LB Quad Probable
T.J. Lang G Non-Injury Probable
Clay Matthews LB Groin Probable
Mike Neal LB Hip Probable

Boykin doesn't appear to be a huge issue for the Packers, as Davante Adams looks to be stepping into the third wide receiver spot. Boyd is probably a bigger loss, as he could have potentially been an alternative to Letroy Guion. As we know, the more Guion is on the field, the better it is for the Vikings. (He's not very good.)

And those are the injuries for this Thursday's contest, ladies and gentlemen.
