Minnesota Vikings at Buffalo Bills: Final Injury Reports

Adam Bettcher

We've finally gotten the final injury reports for the Minnesota Vikings and the Buffalo Bills leading up to their contest in upstate New York this Sunday. Let's take a look at what names are on the injury report, starting with the visitors.

Minnesota Vikings

Player Position Injury Sunday Status
Gerald Hodges LB Hamstring Out
Kyle Rudolph TE Abdomen/Groin Out
Corey Wootton DE Back Out
Sharrif Floyd DT Elbow/Ankle Questionable
Chad Greenway LB Hand/Rib Questionable
Chase Ford TE Foot Probable
Linval Joseph DT Ankle Probable
Michael Mauti LB Illness Probable
Cordarrelle Patterson WR Hip Probable
Jabari Price CB Hamstring Probable
Harrison Smith S Ankle Probable

With Hodges out, if Greenway is unable to go on Sunday, Mauti will get the start at weak-side linebacker. Wootton's absence could lead to third-round pick Scott Crichton being active for the first time in a long time. Not sure who would start at Floyd's defensive tackle spot if he were unable to go, but my guess would be Tom Johnson.

The three players listed as "Out" did not participate in Friday's practice. Floyd's participation was limited, and everyone else on the list fully participated in Friday's practice.

And now on to the home team.

Buffalo Bills

Player Position Injury Sunday Status
Marcus Easley WR Knee Out
Marquise Goodwin WR Hamstring Out
Ty Powell LB Ankle Out
Marcell Dareus DT Non-Injury Probable
Garrison Sanborn LS Knee Probable
Da'Norris Searcy S Knee Probable
Brandon Spikes LB Ribs Probable
Aaron Williams S Wrist/Neck Probable
Kyle Williams DT Knee Probable

Sanborn. . .and this might be the first time I've seen a long snapper listed on the injury report. . .participated fully in practice on Friday. Everyone else on the injury report that isn't listed as "Out" was a limited participant on Friday.
