Minnesota Vikings News and Links, 11/17

Matt Marton-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. . .it's Monday. Not a victory Monday, but more of a "seriously, what in the sweet blue hell was THAT" Monday. That's always worse.

If you would like to look back at our coverage of this weekend's game, you can check out the entire stream right here. It has recaps, it has the Stock Market Report, and it has everything else we did leading up to yesterday, which saw the Minnesota Vikings lose their seventh straight game to the Chicago Bears in Chicago by a score of 21-13.

I'm running a little behind this morning, so I'm just going to go ahead and leave it at that. If you're looking for other recaps of the game, you probably know the usual sources by now. The conference call on the Adrian Peterson matter will be taking place at 1 PM Central time. If we learn anything about what transpired, we'll have it here for you.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (using spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the pictures work-safe and appropriately sized.

This song seems appropriate for today.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Monday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day!
