Minnesota Vikings News and Links, 11/18

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

Week 11 of National Football League action is officially in the books, ladies and gentlemen. Now it's time to start looking forward to Week 12, even though I'm guessing most of us aren't really looking forward to it very much at all.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-There could be a ruling in Adrian Peterson's grievance case by Wednesday. Per the CBA, a ruling has to come down within five days of the hearing, which took place yesterday.

-The Daily Norseman, along with the rest of SB Nation, is taking part in raising awareness of the It's On Us campaign this week. If there's an issue with this, let me assure you that it's not a me issue and it's not an us issue. . .it's a you issue.

-A street near the new Minnesota Vikings stadium will soon be named after former head coach Bud Grant.

From some other sources around the internet. . .

-Head coach Mike Zimmer is doing his best to stay patient with the development of receiver Cordarrelle Patterson.

-Zimmer was also not terribly pleased with the clocks at Soldier Field on Sunday.

-Tight end Kyle Rudolph is still feeling his way back after his return from surgery.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as always, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the bad language to a minimum (using spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the pictures work-safe and appropriately sized.

Your musical entertainment for today.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for Tuesday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day!
