Well, folks, it's Monday. It's not a victory Monday. . .more of a "holy hell we didn't get slaughtered yesterday" Monday. Still, I think that's better than a lot of us were expecting, myself included. This team's making progress, whether anyone sees it (or wants to see it) or not.
Obviously, most of our coverage over the weekend was devoted to the 24-21 loss to Green Bay. If you want to have a look at all the stories leading up to the game, the full stream is right here.
The story also came out yesterday that Minnesota Vikings general counsel Kevin Warren might be the guy that was working to keep Adrian Peterson off of the football field for this year. So sayeth Adam Schefter, in any case.
I'll just leave the links at those for today. If you want recaps of the game, I'm sure you know where the usual suspects reside.
The rules for the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the bad language to a minimum (using spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the pictures work-safe and appropriately sized. (If you need help resizing images, here is some code that will help you out with that.)
For this week's entertainment, I'm going to effort to find some Thanksgiving videos and things of that nature. Of course, that means we start off with a classic.
"As God as my witness. . .I thought turkeys could fly" might be the greatest line in sitcom history. WKRP was so great.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Monday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day!
