We're going to be getting the full injury reports for the Minnesota Vikings and the Carolina Panthers before too much longer here, but according to the Twitter, we already know one player for the purple that will not be suiting up on Sunday.
Jerick McKinnon said he won't play Sunday. Initially got hurt lifting weights, he said. Wanted to go Sunday, but will rest instead.

McKinnon has been battling a back issue the past couple of weeks. No word yet on whether this is related to that or not.
The Vikings will be getting Matt Asiata back on Sunday since he cleared the concussion protocol earlier this week. Minnesota also has Joe Banyard, who saw a little bit of action on Sunday against Green Bay and looked pretty good, and newly acquired Ben Tate, who was active for the Green Bay game but did not get off of the sideline.
But, it appears that the Vikings will be without the player that might be their most dynamic offensive playmaker this weekend. Again, we'll have the full injury reports here in a little while.
