Teddy Bridgewater Nominated For Week 9 "Never Say Never" Moment

Adam Bettcher

In leading the Minnesota Vikings to their third fourth (because math and reading are hard) victory of the season this past Sunday, quarterback Teddy Bridgewater garnered himself a nomination for the "Never Say Never" Moment of Week 9, according to the folks at NFL.com.

Here's the copy they have for Bridgewater's nomination:

Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater led the Vikings to a 29-26 win. Minnesota trailed 10-0 early in the second quarter and later in the game, erased a five-point deficit with the final go-ahead touchdown by running back Matt Asiata, who finished the game with three touchdown runs. On that final scoring drive, Bridgewater made four first-down throws to keep the Vikings marching toward the winning score.

His competition for the award comes from St. Louis Rams linebacker James Laurinaitis, who recovered a goal-line fumble from Colin Kaepernick to preserve St. Louis' 13-10 win over San Francisco, and Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback Mark Sanchez, who stepped in to relieve Nick Foles and led the Eagles to a 31-21 victory over the Houston Texans.

This is the second weekly award that Bridgewater has been nominated for this season. He was voted the NFL's Rookie of the Week for his Week 4 performance against the Atlanta Falcons.
