Minnesota Vikings News and Links, 11/5

Yep, we beat you.
Yep, we beat you.
Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

It's hump day here at your favorite Minnesota Vikings' website, and we got a little bit of fun and excitement yesterday. . .if you can call it that, I suppose.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-The courtroom side of Adrian Peterson's saga appears to have ended yesterday. He agreed to plead no contest to a misdemeanor, and entered that plea in Montgomery County Court.

-Ted wonders where, exactly, we go from here in this matter. That's in the hands of Roger Goodell at this point.

-We did our weekly Power Rankings Roundup, where the Vikings are still trending in an upward direction.

-Teddy Bridgewater was nominated for this week's "Never Say Never" award over at NFL.com. Go over and vote for him!

From other sources across the internet. . .

-ESPN's Ben Goessling has a lot of different stuff on the Peterson situation, so I'll just give you the main link to the blog over there.

-Head coach Mike Zimmer is happy with the team's progress as they head into their bye week.

-Many members of the Vikings have said that they would welcome Adrian Peterson back.

-Over at Vikings Territory, Arif and Adam have some solid takes on the Peterson situation and when he'll be back.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (using spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the pictures, animated and otherwise, relatively work-safe and decently sized.

Your musical entertainment for today.

It is Disturbed, so there might be some naughty words in there occasionally.

With that, the beer light is on, the bar is open, and the camels are loose for this Wednesday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day!
