We've hit December, and the last month of the year starts off with another VICTORY MONDAY, which is always nice.
Yes, the big story from yesterday was the Minnesota Vikings' victory over the Carolina Panthers at TCF Bank Stadium by the score of 31-13. It was a pretty solid performance for our favorite team, featuring two blocked punts returned for scores and a pretty good performance from quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. The stream featuring all of our coverage of this weekend's contest can be found right here, including my stand-in for Ted in the Stock Market Report.
There were a few other stories that came out in the wake of yesterday's game as well.
-Part of the appeal hearing for Adrian Peterson on Tuesday will be a transcript of the conversation AP and his legal team had with Troy Vincent. That could potentially be a big deal.
-The Week 15 contest between the Vikings and the Detroit Lions from Ford Field has been moved to a 3:25 PM Central time start.
That should be plenty to tide folks over for now. If you're looking for more recaps, you know who the usual suspects are and where to find them.
The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the bad language to a minimum (using spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the pictures work-safe and appropriately sized.
It's a victory Monday, and you know what that means. . .it means PLAY THE DAMN SONG, that's what it means!
And remember, if you're in the Twin Cities area, the dedication ceremony for Bud Grant Way will be happening just after noon today. If you can make it out there, please do. . .and tell us how it went!
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this VICTORY MONDAY, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day!
