It's Friday, which means it's injury report day for teams across the National Football League. With that being the case, the Minnesota Vikings and the Miami Dolphins have released their final injury reports for this Sunday's contest down in Miami, and man. . .are they both lengthy. Let's take a look at both, starting with the visiting team like we always do.

Minnesota Vikings

Player Position Injury Sunday Status
Anthony Barr LB Knee Out
Charlie Johnson G Ankle Out
Kyle Rudolph TE Abdomen/Groin Doubtful
Robert Blanton S Ankle/Knee Questionable
Matt Asiata RB Foot Probable
Sharrif Floyd DT Knee Probable
Chad Greenway LB Non-Injury Probable
Greg Jennings WR Hamstring Probable
Linval Joseph DT Illness Probable
Cullen Loeffler LS Illness Probable
Xavier Rhodes CB Wrist Probable
Brian Robison DE Ankle Probable
Andrew Sendejo S Thumb Probable

Even though the team has announced that Anthony Barr would not return this season, they have not yet officially placed him on injured reserve, which is why he still appears on the injury report. Rudolph's injury means that we can expect to see a lot more of Chase Ford and Rhett Ellison on Sunday. Floyd is finally expected to be back full-time after fighting his knee issue the past few weeks and missing last week's game.

Oh, and if you're scoring at home, the new backup long snapper (in the event that anything should happen to Loeffler) is, in fact, Audie Cole.

Barr, Greenway, Loeffler and Johnson did not participate in Friday's practice. (Greenway's absence was explained by Mike Zimmer as a "personal issue.") Rudolph, Blanton, and Joseph were limited participants. Everyone else on the Vikings' injury list was a full participant in Friday's practice.

And now, on to the home team.

Miami Dolphins

Player Position Injury Sunday Status
Nate Garner G Illness Out
Dallas Thomas OT Foot Doubtful
Daniel Thomas RB Knee Doubtful
Jelani Jenkins LB Foot Questionable
Don Jones S Shoulder Questionable
Jamar Taylor CB Shoulder Questionable
Charles Clay TE Hamstring Probable
Cortland Finnegan CB Ankle Probable
Jonathan Freeny LB Hamstring Probable
Chris McCain LB Ankle Probable
Koa Misi LB Hamstring/Knee Probable
Jordan Tripp LB Shoulder Probable
Jimmy Wilson S Ankle Probable

Man. . .not good to be a Miami Dolphins' linebacker, from the looks of things. Strangely, Garner and the two Thomases are listed as "did not participate" in Friday's practice, and everyone else on the Dolphins' injury report is listed as "limited." No full participants in Friday's practice among all the names on the Dolphins' injury report.

And those are the injury reports for both teams heading into this Sunday's contest, folks. We'll have more coverage of this weekend's game as we get closer to Sunday afternoon.
