2014 is almost gone, ladies and gentlemen! But we have time for one more Open Thread before the ball drops, so we'll get to it here.

There wasn't a whole lot of activity around here yesterday, save for the news that the Minnesota Vikings signed all nine of the players on their practice squad to "reserve/futures" contracts. We promise to do better today, though, so we hope you'll stay tuned for that.

Other than that, the rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tag feature, if necessary) and keep the pictures work-safe and appropriately-sized.
