Yep, I'm still alive and still here. Apologies if you were hoping otherwise.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, this is it. . .the final meaningful football game that we'll see until September. Fortunately, this is shaping up to be a good one, and one that we can enjoy thoroughly.
This is a true battle of offense vs defense. The Denver Broncos scored 606 points during the 2013 season, with Peyton Manning re-establishing the record for most touchdown passes in a season. The Seattle Seahawks, on the other hand, led the National Football League in pretty much every meaningful defensive category and are one of the best defenses the NFL has seen in a long, long time. The weather, at present, doesn't look like it's going to be that much of a factor, and hopefully it will remain that way.
