Free agency continues across the National Football League today, and the Minnesota Vikings might be looking to get involved again.
Yesterday, we found out that the Vikings have two more visits scheduled for today, one from former Chicago Bears defensive tackle Henry Melton and one from former Carolina Panthers cornerback Captain Munnerlyn. There may be other visits happening as well that we just haven't gotten around to yet.
I got an opportunity to sit down with Travis Aune from the Minnesota Sports Weekly podcast and talk about the Vikings for an hour. You should listen to it.
We also took a look at the contract signed by Everson Griffen before free agency started, and we. . .or, at least, I. . .have come to the conclusion that it really isn't as terrible a contract as some may have originally though.
Remember, since this Open Thread is mostly about free agency, please keep the number of GIFs to a minimum so that things don't bog down. I mean, things bog down after enough comments anyway. . .a ton of GIFs would just make it worse.
Otherwise, the rules are the same as ever, folks. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the language relatively clean.
Today's musical choice. . .well, this could explain the Vikings managing to sign Henry Melton and Captain Munnerlyn during their visits.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for Day Three of NFL Free Agency, folks. Enjoy it, and if there's any news that comes down, we will have it here for you.
EDIT: Since someone asked in the comments, here's the Twitter feed:
