Happy Saint Patrick's Day, everybody! I hope that your weekend went well, and that if you're engaging in traditional St. Paddy's Day activities today that you've already arranged a) transportation home and b) a day off from work on Tuesday.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-CCNorseman has set up a pool for the NCAA Basketball tournament. I haven't watched a single college basketball game all year. Pencil me in for the championship! (Or, you know. . .not.)

-The Minnesota Vikings also went and restructured the contracts of Chad Greenway, Jamarca Sanford, and Jerome Felton over the weekend to clear a little more cap space.

-We brought you the latest installment of the Mock Draft Database.

-We also have the latest installment of Norse Code for your listening pleasure.

-Kyle is trying to figure out exactly what it is that Rick Spielman is looking at doing, draft-wise.

Most of the rest of what occurred this weekend is in our big Free Agency Stream. If you've missed any of the roster moves over the past week, that's where you'll find them.

From some other sources around the internet. . .

-The Vikings met privately with Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who will have his pro day today.

-Sioux Falls Storm wide receiver James Terry has started Touchdowns for Ty, a charity designed to raise awareness of child abuse. The charity is named for Tyrese Ruffin, the 2-year old son of Adrian Peterson that was beaten to death last October.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as ever, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the language clean and the GIFs relatively tame.

For today, a traditional Irish drinking song.

With that, the (green) beer light is on and the bar is open for business on St. Patrick's Day, everyone! Enjoy your day, and if there's any news, we'll have it here for you as soon as we can.
