Minnesota Vikings News and Links, 3/31

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

It's the last day of March, ladies and gentlemen! On this day, the real winners are all the military spouses and military families, because tomorrow "Mustache March" will officially be over and thousands of absolutely ridiculous mustaches will be disappearing. So, hooray for that.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Ted took a look at the case for the Minnesota Vikings drafting Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel.

-Speaking of Manziel, Vikings' head coach Mike Zimmer has gotten advice on him from a couple of different sources.

-Mark is doing a new Vikings mock draft every day between now and draft day. We've put them all in one stream for you to keep track of.

-Arif and company put together the latest episode of Norse Code for your listening pleasure.

-Lastly, we put out the latest installment of our Mock Draft Database for you to take a look at.

From some other sources across the internet. . .

-It looks like Brian Robison will be staying at left defensive end. I had no idea they were contemplating moving him.

-The bid for the new stadium in Minneapolis to host Super Bowl 52 is due on Tuesday.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as ever, folks. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean, and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.

For our musical selection today, let's hear from what might have been the best mustache in music before he shaved it off. (Non-Freddy Mercury category, since we just did a bunch of Queen songs a while back.)

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for the last Open Thread of March, folks. Enjoy the rest of your day, and we should have more for you going forward.
