Good morning, and a happy Tuesday to all of you out there. Let's get on with the business of the day, shall we?
Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .
-We've rounded out the Top Ten of our 2014 Daily Norseman Big Board for the NFL Draft, and we got a bit of an early start on determining spots 11-15 because, for lack of a better way to put it, I screwed up. (Tried prepping the next board early and messed up the earlier one. My apologies for that.)
-Ted was quite happy to report that the team finally has a Buckeye on the roster again, as the Minnesota Vikings signed former Philadelphia Eagles' safety Kurt Coleman.
-Ted also brought us the latest mock draft from the mothership at SB Nation, which features a huge (and highly unlikely) trade by our favorite football team.
-Speaking of the guys at the top, they posed the question of what would happen if no quarterbacks go in the top 5 of the draft. Answer? The Vikings take whichever quarterback they want at #8.
From some other sources around the internet. . .
-ESPN's Kevin Seifert looks at the likelihood of Johnny Manziel being drafted by the Minnesota Vikings.
-Adrian Peterson thinks he can buck the trend of running backs becoming an afterthought in the NFL.
-The renovations are underway at TCF Bank Stadium to make it NFL-ready for the next two seasons.
-Defensive tackle Kevin Williams had a visit with the New York Giants, according to our friends at Big Blue View.
The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (with spoiler tags if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.
Today's musical selection. . .seems like a natural fit.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Tuesday, everybody. Enjoy the rest of your day!
