Minnesota Vikings News and Links, 4/16

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

Hope everyone got their taxes in on time. . .or filed for an extension or whatever. Anyway, it's behind us now.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Five more spots are up for grabs on our Big Board, as we're moving on to spots 16-20.

-The Minnesota Vikings signed a couple of players yesterday.

-Ted singled out the one player that he doesn't want our favorite football team to draft.

-CCNorseman has the newest installment of his Consensus Draft Rankings for you to check out.

From some other sites around the internet. . .

-Former college teammates Jasper Brinkley and Captain Munnerlyn are back together in Minnesota.

-Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater apparently extended his stay in Minnesota.

-The Vikings are apparently stepping up efforts to bring Major League Soccer to the Twin Cities.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (with spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.

Your musical selection for today, everyone.

And remember, folks. . .if it isn't David Lee Roth, it isn't really Van Halen.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for Wednesday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day!
