Minnesota Vikings News and Links, 4/21

Trevor Ruszkowksi-USA TODAY Spor

Happy Monday, everybody! My apologies for the lack of stuff over the weekend. . .I made an executive decision to pretty much give myself the weekend off. It was awesome.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-We've got the Big Board polls started back up again, as we're trying to fill spots 31-35.

-Mark gave us another mock draft for your reading pleasure.

-I did manage to put together the latest update for our Mock Draft Database.

From some other sources around the internet. . .

-Thanks to the way they've structured contracts, the Minnesota Vikings could already be $30 million under next year's salary cap. Rob Brzezinski is a freaking genius.

-The team has added a little more money to the stadium project, this time for the giant video boards.

-Adrian Peterson still, apparently, thinks that the Minnesota Vikings should have signed Michael Vick.

Also, our second-round pick in the SB Nation Blogger's Mock Draft will be posted at about 2 PM Central time. It will probably garner much the same reaction as our first-round pick did. Not that I care. . .both of them are picks that it is very easy to stand by.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (with spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.

Your musical selection for today.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Monday, everybody! Enjoy the rest of your day, and we'll have more for you as the day continues.
