Welcome to the party, ladies and gentlemen! We're still inching towards the 2014 NFL Draft, and we're now just 16 days away.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-You like-a the Rickspeak? Ted's gotta the Rickspeak for you!

-CCNorseman takes a long look at the Minnesota Vikings' quarterback search leading up to the draft.

-MOAR MARK MOCKS! Well, mock anyway. . .I was really just going for the alliteration there.

-We took Brigham Young linebacker Kyle Van Noy in the second round of the SBNation Blogger's Mock Draft.

-We're also continuing to roll along on our Big Board, as we're now rounding out the Top 40. I'll probably do one of these just for quarterbacks at some point, since there's quite a bit of debate over that particular position.

From some other sources around the interwebs. . .

-ESPN has a breakdown of the contract of newly-signed safety Kurt Coleman.

-The final auditions for this year's cheerleading squad will be held in the rotunda at the Mall of America this evening. (And why the hell am I finding this in the San Luis Obispo Tribune?)

-Vikings Territory has a look at a recent interview with Vikings' head coach Mike Zimmer.

-The Vikings will be using their first mini-camp to assess their quarterback need. SPOILER: This team needs a quarterback.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (with spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Tuesday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day!
