First Friday of April here, ladies and gentlemen, and the start of a three-day weekend for me. If you're working this Friday, hopefully our Open Thread will give you a chance to take a bit of a break.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Mark kept the momentum going with another daily mock draft for your reading pleasure. All the different potential scenarios are kind of mind-boggling, aren't they?

-We took a look at Mel Kiper's "Grade A" draft for the Minnesota Vikings.

-The Minnesota Vikings (and every other NFL team) announced their off-season workout dates yesterday.

From some other sites around the internet. . .

-Vikings Territory has an "Alabama-style" mock draft for the Vikings.

-Ben Goessling says we should look for more rotation on the Vikings' defensive line in 2014.

-There was a jobs fair for the new Vikings stadium yesterday. Doug Mann would rather people just didn't work.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean, and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.

Here's your musical selection for today, folks.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Friday, everybody. Enjoy your day, and keep your eyes peeled for new stuff from us!
