It's another day here at your favorite Minnesota Vikings' website, ladies and gentlemen. Things have once again slowed down a bit in the aftermath of the 2014 NFL Draft, but we're going to do what we can to continue bringing you good stuff.
Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .
-CCNorseman took a look at the offensive depth chart now that the signing frenzy appears to be finished.
-We took a look at which rookies might have the most impact for the Vikings next season.
-We also took a look back at the high school recruiting reports for some of our draftees.
From some other sources around the internet. . .
-The folks from the Sports Bank asked Ted what he thought about Kain Colter's chances of making the Vikings' roster.
-We totally got name dropped on 1500 ESPN yesterday on the Mackey & Judd morning show, specifically CCNorseman's draft grade article. (The discussion starts at the 2:10 mark of the linked clip there.) Our quest for world domination continues.
-ESPN's Ben Goessling notes that there are still some questions in the Vikings' secondary. Hopefully the answer to some of those questions is "Mike Zimmer and George Edwards."
-We don't know who will end up with the naming rights for the new Vikings stadium, but it apparently won't be Wells Fargo.
-The team's official website has a nice piece that talks about new quarterback Teddy Bridgewater's poise under pressure.
The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (using spoiler tags if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.
I was going to use this song yesterday. . .again, just because I like it. But then I went with Jimmy Fallon and the Muppets.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Thursday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day, and we'll have more for you later on.
