Minnesota Vikings News and Links, 5/16

Hannah Foslien

It's Friday, everybody! Woo-hoo, and so forth!

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-International superstar CCNorseman continued breaking down the Minnesota Vikings' roster, this time turning his attention to the defense and special teams.

-It's been a while since we got to talk about Chris Kluwe, so here's another post on Chris Kluwe from Ted.

-Eric takes a look at the best and worst-case scenarios for the Vikings' draft class.

-Our friends over at Card Chronicle have penned a nice piece about Teddy Bridgewater. I like this guy more and more every day.

From some other sources around the internet. . .

-ESPN's Ben Goessling takes a look at Bridgewater's chances of starting for the Vikings this year.

-Over at Vikings Territory, Arif tells you why Chad Greenway hasn't been good for a while now. Hard to argue, really.

-There will be plenty of big-name Minnesota athletes, including Adrian Peterson, in the Celebrity Softball Game at Target Field during MLB All-Star Weekend this July.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (with spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.

Not one, but TWO videos for your viewing pleasure today. Here's the first one, which may or may not contain spoilers. Honestly, I don't know.

And this one, featuring a modern-day American hero. This one's a pretty long video, but I think folks will enjoy it.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Friday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day!
