Happy Wednesday, ladies and gentlemen! Hopefully your week is going well, wherever you're located.
Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .
-Super Bowl LII in February of 2018 will be held at (insert name here) Stadium in Minneapolis! The new stadium pulled off what is viewed as an upset over New Orleans and Indianapolis. In related news, New Orleans can commence to sucking it. (Indy is still cool, though.)
-The awarding of Super Bowl LII to Minneapolis might be something we all look back on as a turning point.
-The Minnesota Vikings continued to sign their draft picks on Tuesday. They started with the signing of top pick Anthony Barr, and continued on with the signings of Teddy Bridgewater, Shamar Stephen, and Brandon Watts. That means the Vikings have signed seven of their ten picks, with only third-rounders Scott Crichton and Jerick McKinnon and sixth-rounder Antone Exum unsigned at the present time.
From some other sources around the internet. . .
-NFL.com has projected the Vikings' starters for the 2014 season.
-Our friends at Card Chronicle are pretty happy about Teddy Bridgewater signing his new deal.
-Speaking of Bridgewater, ESPN's Jeffrey Chadiha has declared that he will experience more success than the other two quarterbacks taken in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (with spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.
More Iron Maiden, you say? Why, certainly!
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for Wednesday, everybody. Enjoy your day!
