The Piece Of Dome Memorabilia You REALLY Want

When the Metrodome was demolished following the Minnesota Vikings' 2013 NFL season, people wanted all sorts of souvenirs. Obviously, different things associated with the stadium have varying levels of coolness.

A piece of turf? Eh, that's alright.

A seat from the stadium? Okay, now you're getting warmer.

Now, there's a site that is selling the one piece of Dome memorabilia that everyone really, really wants.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I'm talking about. . .the troughs from the men's bathrooms throughout the Metrodome.

A site called LCS Auctions has the metallic monoliths available for sale. And how could you refuse after reading the description?

(1) Stainless Steel Trough from Metrodome Restrooms. Work great for livestock feeders or beverage coolers. There are multiple lengths of troughs available. We have 8', 10', 11', and 12'. All measure 2' H x 14" D. All units have (2) drains in them. Condition of units vary, some have minor dents and dings from the removal process. First come, first serve on pickup day. Bidders responsibility to load items. Bring help for loading.

To be clear. . .there's no way on God's green earth that anyone is using this as a beverage cooler. I don't care what kind of industrial-strength cleaning solution anyone might use on these bad boys, I'm not putting drinks in there.

Maybe you or your wife would like one for the garden. Just imagine your petunias in one of these out in front of your house, would you?

But if you want a piece of the. . .ahem. . .action, you're going to have to move fast. The auctions only have about four hours left for bids, but the price is right. At the present time (approximately 1:30 PM Central time), the prices range from $75 to $105.
