We've made it through another week, ladies and gentlemen! Sometimes, that's reason enough to celebrate, but we've even got a long weekend coming up, which is always nice.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Kyle opined the subject of quarterback development.

-The troughs from the Metrodome bathrooms went on sale. Auction's over, though. . .cheapest of the group went for $260.

-New Vikings' offensive lineman David Yankey has completed his journey to American citizenship.

From some other sources around the internet. . .

-Ben Goessling of ESPN does a wrap-up of the Minnesota Vikings' off-season.

-Some of the guys that started for the Vikings on defense last year are still looking for jobs. Imagine that.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (with spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.

We conclude this week of Iron Maiden songs with my personal favorite.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Friday, everybody. Enjoy the rest of your day!
