If you were looking forward to seeing #95 start for Minnesota this year. . .well, you're going to be disappointed.

Hat tip to The Viking Age for having this first.

I know we have a lot of folks out there that are into jerseys, and there are several members of the Minnesota Vikings that are going to be swapping numbers. Here are the changes that will be taking place.

-Defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd - Was #95, will now be #73.
-Defensive end Scott Crichton - Was #72, will now be #95.
-Defensive lineman Isame Faciane - Was #73, will now be #76.
-Offensive lineman Matt Hall - Was #73, will now be #72
-Defensive tackle Shamar Stephen - Was #76, will now be #93.

Floyd and Crichton are both going back to the numbers that they wore in college for Florida and Oregon State, respectively.

As far as Shamar Stephen changing from #76 to the number of Vikings legends John Randle and Kevin Williams? As a wise man once said. . .that's a bold strategy, Cotton. We'll see how it works out for him.

But if you already have a Sharrif Floyd jersey, or got out way ahead of the curve and got a Scott Crichton jersey. . .well, it looks like you'll have to get yourself another one.
