It's getting closer, ladies and gentlemen. . .we're just three days away from the 2014 NFL Draft, and you can expect a lot of great coverage of all the happenings at Radio City Music Hall from the team here at your favorite Minnesota Vikings website.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Mark took part in a live mock draft, courtesy of the folks at Mocking the Draft. Pretty good results, I think.

-CCNorseman continues his "Boom or Bust" series on quarterbacks, taking a look at who the numbers say will be the best in this year's class.

-Ted brought us the story of the Vikings declining to pick up the option on Christian Ponder's contract.

-We brought you what will likely be the final installment of the Mock Draft Database.

-We completed our Community Quarterback Rankings, with a complete non-surprise at the top.

-Mark also had a daily mock from Friday for your viewing pleasure.

-A couple of sites have run mock drafts that mock mock drafts. The Vikings' picks in both were pretty bad.

-Ted reminds us that teams are built on the picks that come after the first round.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (with spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work safe.

Here's your musical selection for today, folks.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Monday, ladies and gentlemen. Keep your eyes open for more great stuff as the day goes on!
