We are T-minus eight hours (give or take) from the start of the 2014 NFL Draft from Radio City Music Hall. Where can you follow all of the action? Well, let's take a look at everything you need.
(Much of this info is taken from a post by our friends at Cincy Jungle. Big thanks to them for the information.)
Location: Radio City Music Hall, New York City
Start Time: Thursday, 8 May, 7:00 PM Central Time
Minnesota Vikings Picks Today: #8 overall (as it stands right now)
Television: ESPN, NFL Network
Live Streams: WatchESPN.com, NFL.com
To clarify the live streams, ESPN's draft coverage will be available at WatchESPN.com, as well as on the WatchESPN app for tablets and smart phones. It will also be available through ESPN's app on XBox Live, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and Roku for people who receive ESPN as a part of their subscriptions.
The NFL.com live stream will be seen on. . .get this. . .NFL.com. NFL.com Live will combine their analysis of each pick while going live to the podium for Roger Goodell's announcement of each of the first 32 picks.
NFL Digital Media also has you covered with an array of options across multiple platforms and devices. NFL Mobile from Verizon, and the return of Draft Xtra on the NFL Mobile app each provide video access inside Radio City Music Hall, complete with interactive features.
NFL Network will have reporters at numerous different locations. The Network's own Albert Breer will be at Winter Park covering the Minnesota Vikings (for Thursday, at least). Doesn't appear they'll have anyone there on Friday or Saturday.
Radio (Terrestrial and Satellite)
ESPN Radio will broadcast the NFL Draft live on Thursday, May 8, at 7 p.m. from Radio City Music Hall with host Dari Nowkhah, joined by analysts Louis Riddick and Mark Schlereth and ESPN.com senior NFL writer John Clayton. The group will interview draftees and team personnel. At 11:30 p.m., Freddie Coleman will host a post-first round show, joined by ESPN Insider Adam Caplan. The Draft on ESPN Radio will resume Friday, May 9, with Nowkhah, analysts Riddick and Schlereth and Clayton. Kevin Winter will host that night's post-draft coverage at 11 p.m., joined by Caplan.
Sirius/XM NFL Radio, Channel 88 on both services, will also be covering the 2014 NFL Draft live with analysis of every selection. I'm not 100% sure on who will be handling hosting duties for them, but their analysis will be provided by Pat Kirwan, Gil Brandt, and Jim Miller. They will most certainly have interviews from draftees and others as the night continues.
And, as always, we'll have the Open Threads up here and running for you, starting at approximately 5:30 PM Central time. We hope that you will be here to celebrate/commiserate with us, folks.
