A lot of people were disappointed. . .for some reason. . .when the Minnesota Vikings used the #9 overall pick to select UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr. The source of that disappointment seemed to be the team passing on a quarterback when Teddy Bridgewater, Johnny Manziel, and Derek Carr were all still on the board.
But, this is Rick Spielman we're talking about. And we all know that, when it comes to sitting still in the NFL Draft. . .well, that just isn't something that Spielman is all that good at.
So, it would appear that the Vikings are going after their quarterback after all. Who will it be? It doesn't appear that we will have to wait long to find out.
